2022 “You Pick” Strawberry Season Starts: sometime within the first week of June
Price: to be determined
We provide buckets (show below) that you can purchase, or you can bring your own!

The Process…
Currently grow 6 acres of strawberries that are split into 2 patches. These BOTH are open to the public for “pick your own”. (mentioned above)
We put an insane amount of work and time into our berries so that we can only hope to try and produce for you the very best quality. Here’s how it works…
Starting off in July we plant ~30,000 bare root plants by hand.

After planting is done; we will then run irrigation lines through the field to water the plants, so that their roots can set properly within the soil.

Then, once winter starts to roll in we cover the berries with straw for 2 reasons.
1.If the temperature gets too low it could harm the plants.

2. When spring comes we pull the straw off and place it between the rows. This lets the plants breathe, suppresses the weeds from growing, and also creates a nice thick surface for customers to kneel on while picking.

A year after planting: In the middle of May after the straw is taken off the plants should look something like this.

Now it is time to open up to the public! An exact date is never accurate until about a week before we open. To estimate the patches are usually open around the first week of June. As long as the season goes well we should be picking until July 1st!
